Y Type & T Type Strainer
There are lots of range in Y strainer & T strainer. Y-Strainer are used in applications where the amount of suspended solids particles to be removed are less and where continues cleaning is not required. Y Strainer & T Strainer has Very low pressure drop, very high corrosion allowance on thickness for longer life. Strainer should be installed as close as possible to the machinery or valve to be protected. the arrow cast on the strainer body must point to the direction of the flow. For installation on horizontal or inclined pipelines, the element screen part must be below the pipeline.
